History of Noodles and Company
This restaurant started by former Pepsi, Marketing Executive Aaron Kennedy. The idea came to start this restaurant in 1995 when he was eating noodles at Mamie’s Asian Noodle Shop located in Greenwich Village, New York.
At that time, there were not enough restaurants for noodles’ lovers. He got an idea and started developing recipes in his mother-in-law’s kitchen.
Later on, his mother-in-law became the COO of this restaurant.
After lots of hassle, Aaron Kennedy decided to raise funds from his friends and family. At last, he raised $72,000 in personal funds and $200,000 as an investment from his friends and family members.
The first restaurant opened in October 1995, located in Denver, Colorado.
